Abstract: The clinical manifestations of this patient with hypopharyngeal liposarcoma are dyspnea, dysphagia and aspiration. Fiberlaryngoscopic examination showed a grayish-yellow mass with a smooth surface and a broad base in the left hypopharynx, piriform fossa, and laryngeal entrance. CT examination revealed a solid mass with clear borders in the hypopharynx and a fibrous septum. Pathology revealed a highly differentiated liposarcoma of the hypopharynx.
