Advances in the treatment of anterior commissure combined with early glottic carcinoma

Abstract: Early glottic laryngeal cancer usually refers to the Tis-T2 lesion without cervical lymph node and distant metastases. Radiotherapy of early glottic laryngeal cancer, CO2 laser microsurgery, open surgery, plasma radiofrequency ablation, photodynamic therapy, biological targeting therapy have achieved good therapeutic effect. However, due to the special nature of its anatomy, it is controversial about the treatment of early glottic laryngeal cancer which involves the anterior commissure. In this article, we reviewed the conventional treatment of radiation therapy, CO2 laser microsurgery, open surgery, plasma radiofrequency ablation.
