Abstract: Carcinoma ex pleomorphic adenoma is an epithelial malignant tumor of pleomorphic adenoma.This may be due to the accumulation of genetic instability caused by long-term pleomorphic adenomas.There are few reports of parapharyngeal space carcinoma ex pleomorphic adenoma in the literature study both at home and abroad.This article retrospectively summarized the clinical data of 1 case of pharyngeal space carcinoma ex pleomorphic adenoma and reviewed the literature.We strengthened the understanding of parapharyngeal space carcinoma ex pleomorphic adenoma, improve the accuracy of diagnosis and reduce misdiagnosis and mistreatment.
