Microenvironment of middle meatus involved in pathogenesis of nasal polyps——the possibility and research progress
-
Abstract: Chronic: rhinosinusitis with nasal polyps(CRSwNP)is a complicated inflammatory disease, with increasing incidence and high recurrence rate, which the pathogenesis remains unclear. This article reviewed research progress about the relationships between middle meatus microenvironments and pathologic process of CRSwNP:including hypoxia, microbiome imbalance, innate function of the airway epithelial barrier dysfunction.Pointing out a new direction to figure out pathogenesis of CRSwNP.
